Compare the full configuration rather than only the graphics-card name. Memory, processor, operating system, background load, and the host role can all change the observed experience. Upgrading one component cannot guarantee a particular frame rate.
Check the macOS requirements
The Steam page lists macOS 15, Apple Silicon M1 or newer, and 16 GB of memory as the minimum Mac configuration. M3 or newer is listed as recommended. Intel Mac support is not confirmed by those requirements, so do not imply that every older Mac is supported.
Use the same official Render Scale and Quality order on a supported Mac. Close heavy background work before testing, then revisit the same in-game area. Keep the power connection and system state consistent so the result is not confused by a changing test environment.
